What I Help With

I offer therapy for children, teens, and young adults, incorporating play therapy, EMDR, and relational, attachment-based approaches. My work is warm, collaborative, and grounded in research, with care tailored to each stage of life.

Therapy with Children

Children may not always have the words or developmental capacity to fully describe what they are feeling or experiencing. This is where play comes in. Play is a child’s natural way of communicating, and toys can become the words through which children express and explore their experiences. As a play therapist, I create a warm, accepting relationship where children can express their feelings, explore difficult experiences and behaviors, and build emotional resilience.

In Child-Centered Play Therapy, the playroom becomes a safe space where the child can lead, make choices, and work through experiences at their own pace. Rather than directing the child or deciding what their play means, I follow their lead and respond with understanding, empathy, and acceptance. The child is given the freedom to be seen and understood without judgment while experiencing healthy boundaries and a consistent, supportive relationship.

Through this process, children can develop greater self-awareness, confidence, emotional regulation, problem-solving skills, and a stronger sense of agency. Rather than being told how to feel or what to do, children have the opportunity to discover their own strengths and new ways of navigating the world.

Who i work with

Therapy for Tweens and Teens

The tween and teen years can bring big changes in identity, relationships, emotions, and the way young people understand themselves and the world around them. Therapy offers a space where they can feel understood, be themselves, and explore what they’re experiencing without judgment.

I give tweens and teens a voice in what we explore and how we use our time together. While conversation can be an important part of therapy, meaningful work doesn’t always have to be talked through. Depending on the person, sessions may include creative expression, movement, games, play, reflection, or simply space to slow down and be heard.

Together, we may explore emotions, relationships, identity, self-esteem, communication, boundaries, and coping with big feelings. My approach is integrative and tailored to each young person, drawing from CBT, Child-Centered Play Therapy, parts work, attachment and relationship-based approaches, and EMDR when appropriate.

Therapy for College Students and Adults

College and adulthood can bring exciting opportunities, but also uncertainty around identity, relationships, independence, school, work, and the future. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, understand what you're experiencing, and feel more connected to yourself.

Together, we may explore emotions, relationships, identity, self-worth, boundaries, anxiety, and the transitions that come with growing into adulthood. We can also work through past experiences and patterns that continue to affect how you see yourself and relate to others.

My approach is integrative and tailored to you. I draw from attachment and relationship-based approaches, parts work, and EMDR when appropriate. Rather than following a set formula, I meet you where you are and create space for therapy to be collaborative, meaningful, and relevant to the life you’re building.
